Our role
Pareto Way is proud to have worked with Built and the project team on Stage 1 of Liverpool Civic Place: the Yellamundie Library, the council chambers and offices, the civic plaza and the basement parking. We managed BIM in line with the client’s Principal Project Requirements and the project BIM Execution Plan, and ran model coordination and clash detection in Revizto across the architectural, structural and services disciplines.
Autodesk Construction Cloud was used as the common data environment for model sharing. Regular model reviews and issue tracking kept the design team, consultants and trades working from one federated model, so problems were resolved on screen rather than on site. As Stage 1 closed out, the focus moved to as-built and handover model information Council and the Liverpool community can rely on.
What Stage 1 delivered
- Yellamundie Library and Art Gallery, a 5,000 sqm city library whose name means “the Story Teller” in Dharug, opened in December 2023.
- A 6 Star Green Star Design Review rating for the library.
- New council chambers and offices, a civic plaza and basement parking, completing Stage 1.
