Our role
Pareto Way is proud to work with ADCO and the project design team, providing industry-leading Digital Engineering management services on Oasis Aquatics and Wellbeing.
Aquatic centres pack a lot into a few big rooms. Pool shells, balance tanks, filtration, water treatment, heating and air handling all have to fit together beneath a long-span roof in a warm, humid environment, and some late fixes, like pipework cast into a pool shell, are close to impossible. A maintained federated model, shared through the project’s common data environment, keeps the design team, consultants and subcontractors aligned as each hall is fitted out.
The finished centre
When it opens, expected in 2027, Oasis Aquatics and Wellbeing will give Mills Reserve the City of Greater Dandenong’s new two-storey aquatic and wellbeing centre.
- Two separate pool halls, including an eight-lane, 50-metre pool.
- A main pool hall spanned by 11 timber beams, each 35 metres long.
- Two warm water program pools and a spa more than 16 metres long in the warm water area.
- Dry health and fitness facilities on Level 1.
- An integrated pavilion for the neighbouring hockey fields.
